Startup Prize: Focus on Health is a nationally unique entrepreneur education program and competition for early stage health, medical and life sciences startups. As opposed to other entrepreneurial competitions, Startup Prize deemphasizes the pitch and instead encourages our founders to focus on learning and connecting with each other while also building their resource networks with our mentors and potential investors. Fund 17, a nonprofit organization that provides tailored business development and capital access assistance to community entrepreneurs and business owners in New Orleans, is the programmatic anchor for Parish Hall. Propeller is a nonprofit organization that helps entrepreneurs grow their nonprofits and small businesses to tackle social and environmental disparities in New Orleans.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services. To qualify, the business must have been in operation for at least two years, must generate annual sales or revenues above $150,000 in the most recent fiscal year, and have at least four employees.

The Lepage Center extends Tulane's entrepreneurial mission into the Greater New Orleans and Gulf South regions. Through our extensive network, we facilitate connections between local entrepreneurs and accomplished advisors to receive expertise in launching, operating, and expanding ventures. The Lepage Center also produces the Greater New Orleans Startup Report, a comprehensive benchmarking of the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Beach at UNO is the only research park in the Greater New Orleans area.
