What is NOFAB?

New Orleans Food &  Beverage (NOFAB) was formed several years ago by a local food CPG entrepreneur to serve as an informal meetup group. GNO, Inc. eventually took over managing the group and increased its membership to a regional footprint of 300+ food CPG founders and team members. Meetups are now quarterly with a programming component to them (e.g., topics, speakers).

What is NOFAB Demo Day?

NOFAB Demo Day was created as a platform to showcase and celebrate the promising food CPG startups our region is producing by the (baker’s) dozen these days. The event includes remarks by leaders in the food CPG and innovation space followed by startup pitches from emerging brands in the food manufacturing sector.

Our first-ever NOFAB Demo Day took place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. The event kicked off with remarks from a group of seasoned entrepreneurs shared the trials, tribulations, and valuable lessons learned when scaling their brands nationally and was followed by six startup pitches from rising food companies.
