New Orleans is joining a global celebration of entrepreneurship—and we want you to be part of it.

Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) brings together entrepreneurs, investors, educators, students, organizations, and communities around the world to celebrate ideas, innovation, and the people building what’s next.

This November, StartupNOLA is bringing New Orleans into the celebration, connecting events happening across our community under one shared week and showcasing the energy of our local entrepreneurial ecosystem on a global stage.

Why this matters

New Orleans has a startup ecosystem worth showing off, and GEW gives us a global stage to do it. Every event submitted this year adds to a growing, permanent record of what our community built, all in one place, visible to founders, investors, and ecosystem builders around the world.

Put Your Event on the Map

Participating is simple:

1. Plan your event.
   Host something between November 16–22 that brings people together around entrepreneurship, innovation, or building what’s next.
2. Submit it to the StartupNOLA calendar.
   This is your one-stop submission. StartupNOLA will connect participating events to Global Entrepreneurship Week.
3. Spread the word.
   Tap into official GEW logos, templates, and promotional resources to connect your event to the global celebration.

 

How to submit your event

1. Plan your event for the week of November 16-22, 2026
2. Submit your event details through the StartupNOLA calendar intake form
3. Submit by October 9 so your event can be included in New Orleans’ official GEW calendar

Submitted events will be compiled and uploaded to the global GEW calendar as a collective showcase of New Orleans’ entrepreneurial community.
