May 27, 2026 — A federal program created last year to support rural healthcare providers could also result in a $20 million windfall for Louisiana’s health tech startup companies.
State leaders have announced the launch of the Rural Tech Catalyst Fund, a collaboration between Louisiana Economic Development and the Louisiana Department of Health designed to “strengthen rural healthcare systems, expand access to quality care and accelerate healthcare technology deployment across Louisiana’s rural communities.”
