February 2, 2026 — When Mindy Núñez Airhart talks about robotics, she’s not describing some distant, theoretical future. She’s talking about equipment that will soon be walking the shop floor in St. Bernard Parish.
“This is going to be an actual humanoid robot,” Airhart said. “This will be the first humanoid robot that’s developed for industrial or welding use.”
