August 4, 2026 — Gulf Coast Defense Catalyst, along with its Naval Command Partners – Naval Information Warfare Center – Atlantic; Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command; Naval Surface Warfare Center – Panama City Division; and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory at Stennis Space Center – is pleased to announce the Greater New Orleans region’s first Innovation Industry Day taking place on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, 9am to 4pm, at the NOPSI Hotel in Downtown New Orleans.
The topic: Seabed-to-surface maritime attritable sensing.
Featuring speakers, panels, and plenty of networking “collision” time, this is an excellent opportunity to engage with Navy reps and those from other defense agencies and assets along the Gulf Coast. Academia, venture capital, innovation ecosystem leaders, and those who work in the defense sector also will be in attendance. The program’s agenda with topics and speakers will be released soon.
