May 15, 2025 – Blueflite, a Detroit-based drone manufacturer with a global footprint, is expanding into Louisiana, where it has partnered with Acadian Ambulance to develop potentially lifesaving technology to deliver blood to accident sites.
The deal is one of several potential ventures in the state for the nearly 8-year-old startup, which has begun interviewing potential employees for its software development office in downtown Lafayette. And it comes as the company is attracting the attention of local investors.
